Fall Break - Part 2

(WARNING--lots of pictures in this post!) Six Flags was way more fun this year. The kids were older and I think they enjoyed it so much more. Madison went around with the 'Nana' on the trip so I don't have as many pictures of her riding rides. They rode some of the bigger ones that Emma and Joshua wouldn't have ridden. In fact she rode the Judge Roy Scream and the Tony Hawk roller coasters! Here is a picture of part of the Judge Roy Scream! She LOVED them!! Driving a truck, driving a big ole' truck...
They had screamoke! Angela, Alicia and I sang Girls Just Want to Have Fun!
Jeremy sang Play that Funky Music White Boy and in this picture he is pretending to play the guitar.
Emma and Emma with Scooby. Joshua ran out of the maze b/c he was afraid of Scooby and didn't want his picture taken with him.
He would however, take his picture with the M&M guy in the candy store!
They all loved the mini teacups
Waiting in line to ride the Balloon Ferris Wheel
Look who got wet on Aqua Man!
Driving again!
The miniature SuperMan. I will NOT ever be going on the adult one!
I took Madison through the trick or treat hay maze later in the day when she was with us for a little bit.
I think b/t all four kids who were riding rides, we rode this roller coaster about 7-8 times! They loved it!

He couldn't wait in line anymore! I love this picture!
The candy they picked out before leaving the park!
It was a fun trip but I was glad for the sleep afterwards!

Fall Break

A couple weekends ago the kids were out of school for Fall Break. The home took the boys on a trip to the Dallas area. We went to a Family Fun Center on Friday night and then spent the day on Saturday at Six Flags. We all had a blast but were exhausted on the trip home! Poor Jeremy had to drive while all 9 people in our van slept.

Because I have so many pictures I would like to share, I will divide the pictures b/t two posts! The Family Fun Center was a blast!! They had lots of fun things to enjoy like go-karts--Alicia is living with us for right now and she got to go with us! Her and Madison rode several times!
One of the other house mom's mom got to come with us as well and Joshua rode with Micaiah's Nana!
An arcade--

Madison loves air hockey and would play all day if we let her!
Emma and Emma enjoyed seeing if they could follow the squares when they lit up.
Joshua was in his 'boy' element!
Skeet ball is my favorite!

Putt-putt--
and bumper boats--

Madison didn't ride the bumper boats and Joshua rode with one of our boys so I can't post his picture on the boat. I love Emma's face in this picture b/c she is trying to avoid getting splashed as we bump the other boat.
Stayed tuned for pictures from Six Flags!

Babysitting Fun!

We have two babies on campus here at Westview. One of them we have been able to babysit every so often when her parents need a time away. The other day we were watching her and so I wanted to capture Emma and Joshua and the fun they have playing with Mia.They had just as much fun playing with baby toys as she did! Can you tell they are something different and new?!Joshua, of course, has to see if she will play football with him! He is hysterical! We love watching Mia!

There's No Place Like Home...

At the end of Sept. Emma, Joshua and I headed to Searcy for the Lectureships at Harding! Jeremy was wonderful and watched the boys and Madison for the 6 days we were gone! (THANK YOU HONEY!) One of the main reasons I love lectureships is because of the all day Ladies' Day on Tuesday. This year was exceptional and Beth Robinson was the keynote speaker. She did an amazing job! The theme for the week was The Wizard of Oz. Jeremy's mom was in charge of decorations and door prizes for the Ladies' Day. The decorations were wonderful, but I believe the best part was our helper who handed out the door prize clips.Emma did a fabulous job as Dorothy and took her job very seriously! While in Searcy we also got to go to a Bison football game. I need to get the pictures of Emma and Joshua from Shiann so, just know we loved being in Searcy and cheering on the Bisons!!

While we were gone to lectureships, Madison got to go camping with the home. All the homes took the boys camping. Madison had a blast!
I love this next picture but I had to cut part of Madison off to get the boy behind her out of the picture so I could post it.

If you need a new hair do, our cheerleader hair stylists will be glad to help you out!

Joshua is such a good sport! He even was willing to wear an apron as the hair cutting cape! What a man!

Picnics!

The weather has been so beautiful here in OK the last few weeks! During the summer here you don't want to go outside it is so hot, but this time of year is perfect for spending lots of time outside! Emma, Joshua and I have been enjoying the time not only with playing but also enjoying some picnic lunches!

Cheer Camp

Last week was cheer camp for the Elementary girls. The High School cheerleaders work with them each day after school during the week. Then on Friday, the girls get to show the cheers they have learned off at both the Pep Assembly on Friday morning and then again at halftime of the football game. Madison had a blast attending again this year! Here are a few pictures to show off her skills she learned throughout the week!

At the Pep Assembly--

Isn't she beautiful! I love this picture!
